On July 31, 2023, a total of 24 Thai delegates and Yokohama City officials visited our Yokohama Head Office Recycling Center.

 

The Thai delegation consisted of officials from the Thai Ministry of Industry, the Thai ambassador to Japan, and executives from several local Thai companies.

 

The following program was presented under the supervision of our advisor, Mr. Nakanishi, President of Carbon Free Consulting, Inc.

What is R2 ?　—Responsible Recycle
It is an international standard and is becoming increasingly popular among the world’s leading recycling companies.
In May 2022, Koei Shoji Co., was the first company in Japan to acquire R2v3, the latest version of R2.

 

We received many comments from the Thai delegation.

 

・We learned how to recycle and reuse computers, and we would like to use the knowledge we gained from this factory tour at our company in Thailand.
・The facility was clean and the management system was well established.
・The tour was very informative and helpful, and it changed my way of thinking about state-of-the-art recycling.
